Volt is immediately hiring a Payments Operations Analyst in Lake Mary FL

As a Payments Operations Analyst, you will:

The ideal candidate brings strong banking or payments operations experience (Wires, ACH, Checks, OFAC challenges, product transformation and navigate such change for Clients, prioritization with a sense of urgency etc).

Support day-to-day portfolio administration and client service across a diverse book of institutional and corporate clients. This role is responsible for managing client portfolio activities, overseeing administrative setups, and proactively monitoring and resolving operational incidents to ensure a seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client portfolio workflows, including onboarding activities, administrative setups, and ongoing account maintenance, in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve operational incidents; perform triage, track root cause, and ensure timely remediation and client communication.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client operational inquiries, providing responsive, professional support and escalating issues when required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and status tracking across client portfolios; prepare summaries, dashboards, and reporting for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Technology, Product, etc.) to streamline processes, reduce risk, and improve overall client outcomes.
  • Prepare clear, concise materials and updates using Excel and PowerPoint; translate operational metrics and trends into actionable insights.
  • Support control and risk management practices by adhering to policies, identifying process gaps, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or payments operations (e.g., client transaction flows, treasury services, cash management).
  • Proven client or customer service experience with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues under time pressure with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, basic formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint (structured presentations and reporting).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FX operations exposure (e.g., settlements, confirmations, funding, cut-off times, or related workflows).
  • Experience with incident monitoring tools, ticketing systems, or workflow management platforms.
  • Prior collaboration with technology teams on incident remediation or process enhancement initiatives.
  • SWIFT experience: knowledge of ISO 20022 standards is a plus.

This is a Contract full time opportunity.

Pay Rate: $34.00 - $39.42 per hour
