We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to join our team in Davie, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing inventory processes from start to finish. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of shipments, maintaining organized storage systems, and supporting administrative tasks related to inventory and logistics.
Responsibilities:
• Verify incoming shipments against documentation to ensure accuracy and proper receipt.
• Organize and track inventory within designated storage areas to maintain order and accessibility.
• Identify and address discrepancies in received goods or inventory records.
• Prepare items for shipping, including packaging, labeling, and arranging transport details.
• Generate shipping documents such as bills of lading, work orders, and shipping labels.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries efficiently.
• Monitor shipment progress to ensure timely delivery and resolve any logistical issues.
• Maintain detailed records of shipment data, including weights, charges, and discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers to address inquiries or resolve problems.
• Assist with general office tasks, including clerical duties and correspondence preparation.

• Physical capability to handle light lifting of items, typically no more than 10 pounds.
• Familiarity with shipping procedures and documentation processes.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
