Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve K-12 students within multiple schools located in the Lehigh Acres area of Florida. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to support diverse student populations within public school settings from early childhood to high school.
Location: Lehigh Acres, FL (multiple locations, primarily East Zone)
Position Type: Contract (January 5, 2026 June 1, 2026)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with part-time options potentially available
Caseload: Varies by school site, serving a range of K-12 students
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida teacher certification or licensure in speech-language pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) status accepted
- Potential supervision role for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) if applicable
- Experience levels from entry to advanced practitioners welcomed
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Provide direct therapy and support in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support student success
