THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Warehouse Lead assists the Branch Operations Manager in overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards. Responsibilities include facilitating operations, team performance, resolving customer service issues, and enforcing safety and regulatory requirements. The Warehouse Lead plays a key role in optimizing warehouse performance and supporting branch success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists all branch operations including facilitating contract drivers’, routes and warehouse team members’ workflow.
- Follows and leads Mission, Vision, and Values communications and objectives to drive company culture.
- Works with the Branch Manager to develop and execute initiatives to improve Branch KPIs that drive financial performance.
- Participates in customer service for the Branch, resolving issues relating to service quality, pick-pack-and-ship requirements, and deliveries. Coordinates with corporate operations and sales as needed.
- Participates as needed in all functional projects that impact Branch operations or customer order fulfillment.
- Assists with facility safety and compliance with all organizational safety programs and requirements.
- Works with Branch Manager to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements regarding hazardous material, storage requirements and reporting agencies (example: EPA, OSHA, etc.). Acts as the Designated Representative (DR) for the Branch/Hub were required by licensing and compliance laws / regulations.
- Leads assigned team members, providing department/project orientation and day-to-day guidance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of professional supply chain or warehouse operations experience, preferably within the automotive parts industry.
- Proven experience in supervising and leading teams, with the ability to provide orientation and daily guidance.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with ERP/WMS systems.
- Knowledge of logistics, distribution, and/or warehouse management best practices.
- Ability to work fast and effectively within a matrix environment must be highly organized, detailed orientated, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills with an ability to lead, coach and mentor all levels of teammates.
- Proven team-building skills, both internal and external, with the ability to motivate and direct the work of others.
- Exceptional skills in managing and building customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior management.
- Proven ability to analyze situations, draw conclusions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Competency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Adobe, Power Point, Outlook).

- The General warehouse lead will be working in a warehouse environment
- Collaborates with team members, vendors, and other managers within the facility.
- Depending on the assigned location, the facility may be shared with the Sales Team and other business entities of the company.

While performing the duties of this job, the General Warehouse Lead must be able to talk and hear. The role requires regular sitting, standing, or walking for 8 hours or more in a day. Frequent activities include using hands and fingers, grasping, handling, feeling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and reaching with hands and arms. Occasionally, the individual must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
