Overview:
A results-driven sales leader responsible for exceeding sales budgets for assigned accounts in the sportswear apparel sector. This role focuses on representing a diverse portfolio of nationally and internationally recognized brands, driving sales growth, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet regularly with retail buyers to present new product releases and achieve account sales targets.
- Collaborate with buyers to ensure smooth order execution and fulfillment.
- Develop financial budgets by brand and account, partnering with planning teams to meet gross margin goals.
- Present comprehensive assortment and door plan recommendations to retail partners.
- Lead pre-meeting strategy sessions and organize effective sales presentations.
- Deliver engaging presentations using Google Slides, including business overviews, product details, and clear next steps.
- Provide proactive, results-oriented follow-ups after meetings.
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitor strengths and market trends.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify available items for sale.
- Travel to accounts as needed (20-30% domestic travel) and present digitally when required.
- Manage administrative tasks and ensure order base integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in apparel or accessories sales, managing multiple retail accounts.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage accounts independently.
- Proficient with Google Docs, Spreadsheets, and Google Apps.
- Solid understanding of retail math.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
