Job Summary:
The Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Property Manager to maintain and improve operational efficiency, provide excellent customer service, and help ensure the overall success of the facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of administrative tasks, light maintenance, and customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily operations of the storage facility to ensure a positive customer experience
- Support financial goals and help increase profitability
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the office and property
- Help manage rentals, move-ins/outs, and tenant accounts
- Perform light maintenance and upkeep of the facility
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other software to manage records and tasks
- Contribute ideas for improving the facility and customer service
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Problem-solving abilities and a sense of urgency
- Professional phone and in-person communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to type at least 35 WPM
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Willingness to perform light maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Associate degree in business, real estate, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in property management
- 1+ years of customer service or sales experience
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
