A Florida Company is looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team! This is a great opportunity for a detailed oriented individual with a passion for numbers.
Staff Accountant

This is an in-office position at our corporate office in West Palm Beach.
LGW does not offer relocation.
Experience and Responsibilities:
● This role is designed to add depth and strength to the accounting team, and will require an analytical self-starter with a knowledge of and experience in segregation of duties and workflow documentation, and has the ability to follow processes and procedures.
● Experience with an accounting software package (preferably QuickBooks), timekeeping modules and reporting through GL.
● Multiple Entity and intercompany experience helpful
● Responsibilities include:

Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports

Perform daily accounting tasks such as invoicing, and reconciling accounts

Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions

Prepare account reconciliations, including credit card statements, intercompany and retainer accounts

Process AR & AP transactions

Help streamline and improve accounting processes and workflows

Liaison to clients and vendors
Requirements and Skills:
● Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive and QuickBooks
● Solid written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
● Excellent organizational skills
● Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
● Customer service attitude
● Four year degree in Accounting or Finance
