Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for playing a leading role in key strategic client relationships, managing strategic cross -functional projects, developing innovative product solutions, and helping to identify new market opportunities. This role will report directly to the Vice President Strategic Partnerships and collaborate with clients, internal teams and external partners to maintain customers satisfaction, create optimal product solutions, develop and executive growth initiatives, and determine ways to improve current processes.
Our ideal candidate has at least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role and preferably in fresh-cut flower, agriculture, consumer, and/or retail industries.
Job Responsibilities:
· Build relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business and to maintain customer satisfaction
· Analyze sales performance data to drive growth for existing and new customers in non-traditional floral market
· Lead business development initiatives in non-traditional floral by designing innovative product solutions and growth roadmaps
· Collaborate with management to establish and achieve certain key performance indicators by customer
· Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities and trends in non-traditional channels for floral
· Conduct strategic store visits to enhance understanding of market operations and challenges
· Support streamlining logistics for existing programs by continuously collaborating with our customers, our operations team and our logistics partners to improve our processes
· Develop effective sales presentations
· Manage cross-functional projects effectively
· Travel will be required and could be for purposes of client meetings/summits/trade shows, store/site visits, training and farm visits
Education, Skills and Abilities:
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
· Excellent project management, communication, and organizational abilities
· Research and analytical abilities
· Team player with strong work ethic, attention-to-detail, and solution-oriented, strategic thinking
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
· Sales, marketing, retail and business intelligence experience preferred
· Bachelor’s degree or more advanced degree in business, marketing, or a similar field preferred
· English required; Spanish strongly preferred
· Valid passport required for travel to farms in South America.
