Position Available:

We have an immediate need for a Materials Coordinator Manager to meet our current contract requirements in the rapidly growing Fort Myers, FL area. Because we have a reputation of getting the job done, we are requested to do unique, one-of-a-kind projects. Due to our success in this industry and a growing workload, we have an immediate need for a person with a can-do attitude and can work independently.

Required Skills:

• Candidates should have 5 to 10 years’ experience in electrical construction.

• Ability to identify electrical materials and make ready for jobs.

• Able to work independently and complete paper work.

• Must have computer skills.

Tasks:

  1. Receive and count stock items, and record data manually and/or using computer.
  2. Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
  3. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
  4. Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment and organize shelving layouts similar to those found in Home Depot or Lowe’s warehouses.
  5. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  6. Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
  7. Keep records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment.
  8. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  9. Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers. Skills Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  10. Speaking to others to convey information effectively (Spanish helpful but not required). Monitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  11. Service Orientation — Actively looking for ways to help people.
  12. Time Management — Managing one's own time and the time of others.
  13. Field Edge and QuickBooks knowledge- Build assemblies.
