We are looking for a candidate to be a liaison between carriers, freight forwarders, customers and suppliers providing status and tracking information of cargo and making sure the shipments are delivered to the desired destination. Responsible for the billing and the commercial paperwork for US Exports.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Provides superior customer service is a top priority.

· Maintains constant communication via e-mail and by phone with customers and suppliers (cargo companies, freight forwarders, others) to coordinate the delivery of the cargo.

· Packs and ships small items via courier.

· Works very close with the Inside Sales Team to keep the billing process very efficient.

· Reviews shipping documents provided by our agents and validate them against our records. Requests corrections as needed.

· Prepares sale invoices along with all required US export documentation (SLI, certificate of origin, Hazmat documentation, others).

· Submits invoices to the customers and the shipping and commercial documents to the forwarder(s) and providing any special instructions for routing as needed.

· Maintains customers informed about order status.

· Use independent judgment to solve daily transportation problems.

· Keeping export regulatory files with up-to-date information.

Qualifications:

  • Fully bilingual (English & Spanish) it is required. Must be able to read, write and speak perfectly in both languages. A test will be given during the interview.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Applications and interview will not be considered if the applicant is not fully able to speak and write in both languages English and Spanish. Bi-lingual (Sp/Eng)
  • Knowledge of domestic and international regulations, policies, and procedures with 3-5 years of experience handling US export documentation on a similar position with clerical duties.
  • Understand 2020 incoterms is highly desirable.
  • Highly organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Certified with Hazardous Materials is preferred.
  • PC Skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with Dynamics Business Central is preferred.
  • Able to work under pressure, handle multiple calls and E-mails, and work in a fast-paced environment. Need to be able to work independently and with others.
