Overview
Future Healthcare Alliance is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager / Controller with a strong tax background and active CPA to lead accounting and financial reporting across multiple healthcare entities. This is a hands-on, in-office role supporting a growing healthcare organization and partnering closely with executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (GAAP)
- Manage accounting and consolidation for multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions
- Lead all federal, state, and local tax compliance and filings
- Monitor tax law and healthcare regulatory changes to ensure compliance
- Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Mentor accounting staff and drive process improvements
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Active CPA license (required)
- 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong tax compliance and reporting experience
- Multi-entity accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
- Ability to work fully in-office
Preferred
- Healthcare industry experience (MSO, physician groups, or multi-entity healthcare organizations)
- Prior Controller or senior accounting leadership experience
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement and regulatory environments
