Job Summary:
Earth Tech Enterprises is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our team. The CDL Driver will transport heavy equipment, materials, and aggregates to and from job sites, ensuring timely and secure delivery. The ideal candidate has experience driving dump trucks, lowboys, and other commercial vehicles commonly used in excavation and construction work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, lowboys, flatbeds, and other heavy equipment haulers.
- Transport equipment, soil, gravel, and other materials to and from construction sites as scheduled.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is safe and in good working order.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, and other required documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment or materials as needed.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and crew members.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and reporting mechanical issues.
- May assist with light labor or site tasks when not driving, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A (preferred) or Class B license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience; experience hauling heavy equipment or working in excavation/construction preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to operate and secure various types of loads and trailers.
- Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and local/state hauling requirements.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and work in various weather conditions.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional evenings or weekends as project needs require).
