We need an exceptional and passionate foodie to join & lead our kitchen team as Sous Chef. NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB
-To support the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of kitchen operations
-To take full control of the Kitchen at both Generator & Freehand Hotels and carry out all responsibilities
-To help to maintain highest possible standard of food and help create ways of developing new concepts to maintain growth of business
-Understand departmental forecasts and the importance of their contribution to the business success
-To assist with menu compilation, costing, team building and rota compilation
-Monitor stock and assist the Head Chef with stock control and ordering
-To ensure all equipment is functional and properly maintained
-Ensure all aspects of Health, Safety, Hygiene, Welfare, Guest Safety, Fire Regulations, Emergency procedures etc. are adhered to within the Kitchen Department
-To maintain as best a working relationship with all staff, encourage and support work colleagues, keep team briefed at all times
-Lead and motivate staff in order to encourage and obtain maximum commitment and encourage a flexible approach
-To be flexible and assist in other areas of the Kitchen if needed at short notice

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE
-Experience working within the hospitality/service industry in a similar capacity for at least 2 years
-A passion for your city, for travelling and for trending food and drinks concepts
-Knowledge of contemporary interests and the city
-Have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for service
