Our facility has digital radiograph, and in-house laboratory equipment for comprehensive blood screening including urine and Laser therapy. Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate, well-spoken Veterinarian Assistant to join our team. Veterinary Assistant responsibilities include assisting the Veterinarian with appointments, laboratory sample handling, Holding for Veterinary technician and communicating with clients about treatment plans. You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all of our pet patients. Responsibilities:
Interview pet owners to obtain a patient history

Taking vital signs for example Temperature's, Pulse, Respiration

Go over medications and provide at-home instructions for clients from the doctor orders.

Keep accurate patient records

Animal handling and restraint for example hold for blood samples and IV catheters

Qualifications
Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant

Knowledge of animal care vaccines, medicine, and handling

Overall Excellent communication skills

Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment

Patience and a love for animals

Salary ranges from $17.00-$25.00 based on experience.

Shift and schedule

Full-time working weekends (40 Hours)
