TAX ACCOUNTANT:
Local CPA firm in Fort Myers, Florida seeking IN HOUSE, non remote Tax Accountant. We have been serving the Tax, Accounting, Trustee and Estate Planning needs for the Fort Myers area for over 50 years. We have a position available for an experienced full-time (40 hours) tax season associate, (part-time (24 hours) after tax season) that will work directly with the Tax Partner in a smaller environment.
Job Requirements:
- Extensive preparation of tax returns for Individuals, Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts and Estates, Non-Profits and Amended Tax Returns (Federal and State)
- Create thorough and accurate worksheets
- Tax Research
- Respond to IRS and Federal/State tax notices and communications

Experience with Creative Solutions Software (Tax, Accounting and Practice) a MUST

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook a +

Experience with Quickbooks a +
- Required Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of current tax preparation
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
