Harmonic is excited to partner with a high-growth, VC-backed SaaS company at the intersection of lifestyle, consumer experience, and digital innovation. With ARR currently at $17M and a clear path to $25M, this company is looking to grow quickly. Along with a recent Series A investment around $60M, strong market momentum, a rapidly expanding footprint, and support from top-tier investors, the business is scaling nationally and entering a critical phase of operational maturity.

To support this next stage of growth, the company is hiring a Director of Accounting to help establish financial infrastructure, drive process excellence, and ensure sound fiscal management across an increasingly complex organization.

About the Role:

As Director of Accounting, you’ll report to the SVP of Finance and play a pivotal role in enhancing the accounting function. You’ll lead all core accounting responsibilities, manage payouts and reconciliation across a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment, and take full ownership of budget creation and cash flow forecasting.

This is an ideal role for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in high-growth, fast-moving environments, someone who combines technical strength with strategic thinking and operational ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own all core accounting functions including GL, AP/AR, payroll, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Oversee and continuously improve the company’s payout and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Manage budgeting and cash flow forecasting, providing proactive visibility to leadership
• Enforce internal controls and scalable accounting systems
• Partner with FP&A and operations teams to drive efficiency, align on spend, and support strategic planning
• Lead audit readiness and tax compliance, liaising with external advisors
• Build and mentor a high-performing accounting team as the company scales nationally

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a senior accounting lead
• Expertise in managing complex payout workflows and ensuring smooth reconciliation across vendors, partners, or operators
• Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Direct experience with cash flow management and budget ownership
• Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Strong attention to detail, a builder’s mindset
• Strong sense of ownership and independence

Nice to Have:

• Experience in hospitality, food tech, fintech, or consumer marketplaces
• Familiarity with multi-location or multi-entity businesses
• Exposure to venture-backed board reporting, Series B/C environments, or investor-facing communications
