What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support the finance team by managing billing activities and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions. Responsibilities include billing, data entry, filing insurance claims, and maintaining strong communication with residents, vendors, and internal departments. This position plays a key role in keeping financial records accurate and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with billing information and questions
  • Compiles and inputs data for all levels of living; generates monthly bills.
  • Inputs data for Medicare Part A & B claims and submits claims to insurance companies.
  • Files insurance claims with third-party insurance companies (LTC insurance).
  • Daily deposit and deposit entry into the billing system.
  • Maintains residents in the point-of-sale system
  • Sends monthly collection letters

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with accounts receivable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiar with healthcare billing software.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 4 hours per day; must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, and squat to access files and various documentation; must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently; may be exposed to a constant noise level due to the printers located in the office.
