Human Resources Generalist career opportunity with our client in Pompano Beach, FL.

The Human Resources Generalist supports the HR Manager by administering core HR functions and ensuring processes align with business growth and compliance requirements. This role covers a broad range of responsibilities, including:

  • Supporting payroll, benefits, leave administration, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for HR policy and process guidance.
  • Managing HRIS data, maintaining employee records, and supporting audit and compliance activities (e.g., SOX).
  • Leading onboarding and orientation processes and coordinating new hire setup.
  • Administering benefits programs (open enrollment, FMLA, COBRA, etc.) and assisting employees with benefits-related issues.
  • Coordinating workers' compensation claims and tracking ongoing cases.
  • Monitoring training and certification compliance.
  • Participating in HR projects, staying current with HR trends and regulations, and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Delivering high-quality customer service and support across all HR functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience in multi-state environment required.
  • SHRM or other HR certification a plus.
  • Human Resources Information System (HRIS) experience. Preferably ADP Workforce Now.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR systems and applicant tracking tools.

Compensation: 64-73k doe
