We are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This role involves handling payroll processes for multiple hospitality locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. As this is a contract position, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient payroll operations while addressing employee inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Process bi-weekly payrolls for multiple hotel locations with precision and timeliness.
• Gather and verify essential payroll data, including electronic timecards, deductions, additional wages, and one-time payments using Workday.
• Ensure the accuracy of employee time records and wage-related information, including tip and service charge entries processed through the time and attendance system.
• Reconcile employee benefit deductions and wage garnishments to ensure compliance.
• Generate, review, and circulate payroll reports for approval on a periodic basis.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies while addressing employee concerns regarding earnings and deductions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support payroll-related audits and reporting requirements.
• Implement best practices to streamline payroll processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in full-cycle payroll operations, including handling payroll for 101-500 employees.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP and timekeeping tools.
• Experience with payroll garnishments and benefit deduction reconciliations.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to address employee inquiries and collaborate with internal teams.
