Job Title: Patient Collections Representative
Location: Stuart, FL US 34996
Pay: $15.00- $17.00 per hour
Scheduled Pay: Bi-Weekly
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00pm
Job Type: Full Time

Patient Collections Representative Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively review patient account balances and place outbound call in attempt to collect or set up payment plan for patient.
- Investigate patient billing inquiries and communicate findings effectively.
- Answer inbound patient calls.
- Thoroughly document patient accounts of actions taken to collect and/or of billing status
- Have a clear understanding of Medicare Guidelines and Payer Requirements.
- Identify trends along with potentional resolution and effectively communicate to leadership.
- Complete all internal notes assigned.
- Take actions needed related to patient correspondence
- Maintain standard production and quality expectations set for the department.

Patient Collections Representative Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of outbound patient collections experience in the medical industry.
- Understanding of Insurance EOBs and Denial Reasoning.
- Ability to navigate and enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
