We are expanding our leadership team and seeking an experienced Tax Manager who is looking for a long-term career path culminating in a Tax Director role, with the opportunity to manage and grow our Pompano Beach office.

Role Overview
We are seeking a technically strong, highly motivated Tax Manager to lead complex tax engagements, manage a defined client portfolio, oversee staff, and contribute to the firm's continued growth. This is an ideal role for candidates seeking leadership, autonomy, and a long-term home.
Key Responsibilities
-Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041)
-Manage and grow a portfolio of 200-300 clients
-Review and reconcile financial statements in QuickBooks
-Perform technical tax research and provide actionable recommendations
-Oversee multiple engagements to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
-Respond to IRS and state correspondence (audits, notices)
-Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff
-Participate in review and compilation engagements (preferred, not required)
-Stay current on federal and state tax law changes
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
-CPA or EA preferred
-5+ years of recent public accounting experience
-Strong technical knowledge of individual and business taxation
-Experience with UltraTax and QuickBooks strongly preferred
-Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
-Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
