Construction Account Manager

Our client is seeking a driven and dynamic Account Manager to join their growing team, specializing in servicing clients in the construction industry-including new building developments, residential subdivisions, and temporary construction sites. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in the field, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about sustainable solutions in construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Prospecting
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector.
- Conduct cold calls, door-to-door visits, and networking to generate leads.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Field Engagement
- Regularly visit construction sites and client offices to understand needs and present solutions.
- Build strong relationships with site managers, project leads, and procurement teams.
- Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored environmental services.
- Sales & Reporting
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and contracts.
- Provide regular updates and forecasts to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in environmental services or construction-related industries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable with cold calling and field-based sales activities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
