We are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to join our team. As a leader in our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial growth and stability of our company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial operations, including budgeting, analysis, and forecasting. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage the financial strategy and operations of the company, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
2. Prepare and manage the company's annual budget, providing regular updates and forecasts to the executive team.
3. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, making recommendations for improvement.
4. Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
5. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Collaborate with other department heads to develop strategic plans and initiatives.
7. Provide financial insight and guidance to the executive team to support decision-making.
8. Manage relationships with external financial partners, including banks, investors, and auditors.
9. Continually assess and implement best practices in financial management to drive continuous improvement.
10. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required; an MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly desirable.
3. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
4. Thorough understanding of financial trends within the Accounting and Finance industry.
5. Exceptional knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting.
6. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
7. Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
8. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to a non-financial audience.
9. High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
10. Proficiency in financial software and applications.
