Position Summary:
The Sales Assistant provides direct support to the National Sales Manager and sales team, helping to manage customer accounts, prepare sales materials, and coordinate day-to-day activities. This role ensures smooth communication with customers and internal departments, assists with reporting, and helps drive efficiency in sales operations for our branded spice company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and promotional materials.
- Maintain and update customer account information, pricing lists, and sales records.
- Coordinate order processing, tracking, and follow-ups with operations and logistics.
- Support planning product demos, and customer meetings.
- Compile and analyze sales data to generate reports and performance summaries.
- Handle customer inquiries and ensure timely responses.
- Support brokers and distributors with updated catalogs, pricing sheets, and samples.
· Work closely with marketing and design teams to ensure product listings, brand communications and digital assets are consistent, compelling and aligned with brand standards.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of sales support, customer service, or administrative experience (CPG/food industry a plus).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); CRM experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
