We’re looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our underwriting team and drive smart funding decisions based on in-depth bank statement and cash flow analysis. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze 3 to 12 months of business bank statements
- Extract financial data using OCR tools and identify true revenue
- Calculate key financial metrics:

- Average Monthly Revenue
- Net Cash Flow
- DSCR
- DTI Ratio
- Gross Deposits to Ending Balance Ratio
- Total Credits to Debits Ratio
- Perform liquidity analysis and stress testing to simulate revenue declines
- Recommend MCA offers using a fixed factor rate, specified percentage, and repayment schedule based on specified percentage
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and holdback limits
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in MCA underwriting, financial analysis, or small business lending
- Strong Excel skills; OCR and bank parsing tool experience a plus
- Clear understanding of cash flow, debt metrics, and MCA structuring
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Accounting background
Nice to Have:
- Experience underwriting MCA deals for funders
- Familiarity with AI-driven underwriting platforms
- Spanish-speaking a plus
