Job Summary: The Assistant Regional Operations Manager (AROM) is responsible for preparing residential installation crews for pre-construction projects and managing regional inside operations and administrative duties. The ideal AROM has strong communication and customer services skills are highly organized, detail-oriented, and can multi-task. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior project administrative experience looking to gain exposure in the solar industry!
Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the accuracy of information provided to the crews, within the crew Job Packet.
  • Managing local installer payroll audits and payroll app acceptance/accuracy.
  • Process installation reporting and uploading photos and documents into customers' files.
  • Managing solar installation workflow for the region,
  • Initiating inspections processes and communicating with the Inspections Coordinator.
  • Managing customer accounts in Project Sunrise from installation to project completion.
  • Working closely with ROM and HR department on employee relations issues.
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competency:

  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet use.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization.
  • Ability to meet motor vehicle requirements and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to perform normal office duties.
  • Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine the accuracy of work.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Previous project administration or field construction experience
  • Prior team lead or supervisory experience is strongly preferred
  • Prior solar energy experience is strongly preferred
  • Valid Drivers License

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Light lifting and carrying (under 15 lbs).
  • Straight pulling and simple grasping.
  • Walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Operating office equipment and motor vehicles.
  • Ability to see, identify colors and ability to hear (with aid if needed).
  • Ability to write, count, read, and tell time.
  • Travel by car up to 10% of the time.
  • Work performed indoors.
  • Must be able to work both independently and with others.
