Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and outgoing team member to join Sunburst Cafe! In this role, you will welcome customers into restaurant, take their order at the POS, prepare their drink, run their food order and buss the tables - but not on your own! As part of our great front of staff team. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their time at our unique restaurant. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers into Sunburst with a smile
• Take food and beverage orders
• Explain the menu items to customers
• Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex
• Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
• Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
• Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
• Previous POS experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
