Assistant, Packaging & Labeling Digitization

Pay Range $24.00/hr.- $25.50/hr.
Overview
The Assistant, Packaging & Labeling Digitization will support digital transformation initiatives related to packaging and labeling systems. This role focuses on data accuracy, process automation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to sustainability and innovation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management
- Support data entry and governance for packaging and labeling systems
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of digital records and system inputs
Process Automation & Innovation
- Assist in evaluating software solutions to automate routine packaging and labeling tasks
- Support initiatives such as digital label generation and automated compliance checks
- Contribute ideas to improve workflows and drive technological efficiencies
Sample & Submission Management
- Track, receive, and organize physical packaging samples and digital label submissions
- Maintain documentation and support communication with suppliers
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports related to packaging and labeling activities
- Analyze data outputs to identify trends and recommend process improvements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate in meetings with sourcing, sustainability, and technology teams
- Communicate routine issues and proactively escalate challenges when needed
Sustainable Sourcing Support
- Assist leadership in executing sustainable packaging strategies
- Identify, document, and track sustainable innovations
Continuous Learning
- Stay current on Generative AI trends and emerging digital solutions in packaging and labeling
- Participate in training sessions and share best practices with team members
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in data management, process automation, or packaging/labeling operations
- Familiarity with digital tools and a basic understanding of Generative AI concepts
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools; ESKO WebCenter preferred but not required
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement
