Job DescriptionPosition Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Director of Financial Operations to oversee financial planning, reporting, cash flow, distribution management, and overall corporate financial performance. This role is responsible for leading financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing data-driven insights to support organizational growth and executive decision-making across multiple entities.
The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, operational leadership, and experience managing corporate performance in a multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations

Direct cash management activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization

Manage distribution processes, ensuring accurate and timely distributions in accordance with company agreements and policies

Oversee banking relationships, treasury activities, and account reconciliations

Manage and monitor overall corporate financial performance, including profitability, margins, and operational efficiency across the organization

Develop and track KPIs and performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to executive leadership

Partner with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and long-term financial planning

Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and operational decision-making

Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial partners

Design, implement, and continuously improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures

Support multi-entity and intercompany accounting, including cash movements, allocations, and eliminations
Leadership & Collaboration

Collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams

Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to finance and accounting staff

Serve as a key financial liaison between Advanced Management and PBACO, as needed
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or commensurate experience

7+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with demonstrated operational leadership

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and performance management

Proven experience in cash management, distribution management, and treasury functions

Experience in healthcare, MSO, or multi-entity environments preferred

Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems

Experience with accounting and ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial and performance data for non-financial stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications

CPA or MBA
-
Experience supporting sister companies or shared services or MSO models
-
Knowledge of healthcare finance and reimbursement structures
