Job Summary:

This is a full-time position reporting to Chief Compliance Officer. As a Project Manager Product Launches and Compliance you will lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of new product launches, ensuring they meet compliance requirements and align with MyBambus strategic goals. This role will work closely with Product, Compliance, Engineering, Marketing, and external partners to manage timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage all phases of fintech product launches, from concept to market release.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Coordinate with product owners, compliance officers, and engineering teams to align priorities and milestones.
  • Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements (PCI DSS, SOC2, AML, KYC, CFPB guidelines, state-specific remittance rules, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team to integrate risk and compliance checks into the product development lifecycle.
  • Track and document compliance approvals, audits, and certifications for each launch.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Marketing) and external partners/vendors.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and blockers to keep launches on track.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide transparent progress updates.
  • Implement best practices for project governance, including status reporting, risk tracking, and post-launch reviews.
  • Continuously refine launch processes to improve speed-to-market and compliance adherence.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., AML, KYC, PCI DSS, SOC2).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar).

Preferred:

  • PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar certification.
  • Experience with remittances, payment gateways, or digital banking products.
  • Understanding of API-based integrations and product development lifecycles.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
