Major Food Group is hiring a Lead Bartender to join our team at Dirty French Steakhouse!
Located in the heart of Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, Dirty French Steakhouse is a glamorous, high-energy steakhouse from Major Food Group that breathes new life into the storied genre while remaining true to its history. Responsibilities:
- Maintains responsible service of alcohol to all guests including checking identification for proof of age
- Assists the Beverage Manager in creating, maintaining, and developing the Bar Program
- Makes recommendations and answers all menu inquiries
- Extensive knowledge and execution of classic and house beverages
- Handles cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate, returning correct change to patrons, and balancing the cash register
- Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a clean work environment and adhering to sanitation regulations
- Track inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotations.
Requirements:
- Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.
- Deep knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, wine, beer and proper technique.
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
- Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel.
- The position requires at least 4 years of experience in the desired job.
- Experience in high-volume restaurants preferred
