Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist – Contract-to-Hire
Location: West Palm Beach, FL (100% Onsite)
Compensation: $55,000–$65,000

Are you a detail-driven accounting professional with a passion for process and precision? A fast-growing company is seeking a Staff Accountant with a strong focus on Accounts Payable to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL.
About the Role:
As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play a key role in managing full-cycle AP operations, vendor relationships, and supporting the accounting team through a system transition. This is a hands-on role that requires a polished, professional communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage full-cycle accounts payable including invoice coding, processing, and payments

Maintain and update vendor records; handle vendor inquiries and issue resolution

Reconcile AP accounts and assist with month-end close

Support the implementation of Sage accounting software

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Assist with general accounting duties as needed
Qualifications:

3+ years of full-cycle AP experience

Strong understanding of accounting systems and process flows

Experience with vendor management and invoice coding

Proficiency in QuickBooks required; Sage experience is a major plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Professional, polished demeanor and strong attention to detail
