Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to transport goods to customers in a timely and safe manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages and goods from the delivery vehicle.
- Deliver items to customers following assigned routes and schedules.
- Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any mechanical issues.
- Follow safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with GPS devices and route planning.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
