Administrative Technician
Position Summary
The Admin Technician is an entry-level role responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining project, technical, and administrative data. This position supports day-to-day engineering operations by ensuring data accuracy, document organization, and efficient workflow across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update project and administrative data into internal systems
- Maintain organized digital files including reports, drawings, and project documentation
- Verify data accuracy and correct errors or inconsistencies
- Assist with document control, file naming conventions, and version tracking
- Prepare basic reports, logs, and spreadsheets
- Support engineering and administrative staff with clerical tasks
- Follow company procedures for data quality, confidentiality, and record retention
- Perform general administrative support duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to organize information and manage multiple tasks
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or relevant coursework
- Previous administrative or data entry experience (internships welcome)
- Familiarity with document management or database systems
- Interest in engineering or technical environments
