National Employee Benefits Administrators, Inc. (NEBA) is a full service, licensed Third Party Administrator providing benefit administration services to health, retirement and other benefit plans.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with Customer Service experience for a busy medical claims and enrollment department in our West Palm Beach location.
The ideal candidate will be creative, observant and very attentive to detail. Excellent communication, computer and problem solving skills, and a willingness to dig in and work alongside the other members of the department are critical.
The office processes a variety of claims, including medical, dental, life, short term disability and vision claims as well as processing enrollments. The Customer Service Representatives handle a high volume of phone calls for inquiries such as enrollment eligibility and benefits, claim status and coverage questions.
We are looking for someone who is organized, diligent, responsive, takes initiative, works well independently, maintains a positive attitude and strives to maintain the companies culture.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Member Service Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls from both Members & Providers calling inquiring on benefits and claims
- Handle phone and online inquiries such as insurance eligibility and benefits, claim status and coverage questions
- Assist with Member walk-ins
- Respond to messages timely with appropriate information for the providers and members
- Data entry of benefit and claim forms
- Clerical tasks (mail, fax, filing)
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.
- High School Diploma Required
- Medical Terminology Preferred
- Customer Service 1-2 years Preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong Customer Service background
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid computer and problem solving skills
- Understanding of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS codes

Location
This is a full-time position based in office. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30am- 4:30 pm est.
