Randall is immediately seeking a top-tier Safety Specialist with OSHA 30 Certification to join our team to work on large, commercial construction projects in Orlando and across Central Florida.


Position Summary
Our Safety Specialists will oversee commercial construction projects to ensure a safe environment and to identify safety concerns. All safety incidents must be reported and documented on the job site.


Essential Functions

  • Orient and train all personnel to the site’s safety program prior to and during work
  • Make daily job site safety audits and provide copies of documentation to Randall Safety & Project Management
  • Report all injuries immediately to Randall Safety & Project Management
  • Participate in fact finding, root cause analysis and resolution on all injury/incident investigations, and ensure applicable paperwork is forwarded to appropriate parties
  • Attend and participate in safety coordination meetings
  • Provide appropriate materials for conducting weekly toolbox/tailgate meetings or safety meetings, as well as:
    • Periodically conduct toolbox/tailgate meetings
    • Implement required training programs for workers and supervisors
    • Provide necessary information for the obtaining of motor vehicle records for all crane operators on site

Qualifications / Education / Work Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator on commercial construction projects
  • Certified OSHA 30 - Construction (OSHA 500 / 510 Preferred)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
  • Ability to pass extensive background checks for badging purposes
  • Education/training in Occupational Safety & Health
  • CPR, First Aid, AED Trainer certified preferred
  • Superior written, verbal communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel applications
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
