Personal Lines Manager
Location: South Florida (travel required between two office locations or more.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Fortun Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Personal Lines Manager to provide leadership and direction for our Personal Lines Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the department, ensuring superior client service, and supporting the growth and development of the team. This role requires an experienced professional with demonstrated expertise in personal lines insurance and strong proficiency with AMS360.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide strategic leadership to a team of approximately 20–25 personal lines employees across multiple locations.
- Oversee all aspects of personal lines operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching, guidance, and support to promote continuous improvement and professional development.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of new business, renewals, endorsements, and other policy transactions.
- Manage escalated client inquiries and concerns, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.
- Oversee and optimize the use of AMS360 for account management, reporting, documentation, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish departmental goals, strategies, and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Partner with carriers, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and workflow.
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and training efforts for new team members to ensure their successful integration into the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in personal lines insurance, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of personal lines insurance products, coverages, and carrier requirements.
- AMS360 experience is required.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a large team.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability and willingness to travel between at least two Fortun Insurance office locations in South Florida as needed.
- Active 220 insurance license.
- Bilingual, English & Spanish
