Job Description

We are a CPA firm seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative & Accounting Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role combines front-desk reception and administrative responsibilities with basic accounting support, making it ideal for candidates who want to grow within a professional U.S. accounting firm.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage reception and front-desk duties: greeting visitors, handling calls, managing correspondence.
  • Provide administrative support: filing, scanning, maintaining organized digital and physical records.
  • Assist the accounting team with data entry, document classification, and preparation of simple reports.
  • Support client communication by following firm protocols for emails, calls, and document requests.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and accounting staff to ensure efficient workflows.


Requirements:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish (required).
  • 1–2 years of experience in administrative support (reception or office assistant roles).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word..).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred / Extra Points For:

  • Experience in QuickBooks or Accounting CS.
  • Prior work experience in an accounting firm in the United States.
  • Previous exposure to basic accounting tasks such as reconciliations or data entry.
