Line Cook – Crocante Restaurant (Orlando, FL)
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and fast-paced Line Cook to join the kitchen team at Crocante Restaurant. The ideal candidate must work well under pressure, follow recipes with consistency, and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Fluent Spanish and experience with Latin cuisine are required.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and standards
• Utilize knowledge of Latin cuisine (rice dishes, meats, seasonings, traditional plates)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the line, prep areas, and equipment
• Ensure proper food safety, storage, and sanitation at all times
• Set up and stock stations before service and break them down after service
• Assist with prep work, portioning, and labeling ingredients
• Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining quality
• Communicate clearly with the Chef and kitchen team
• Follow all kitchen procedures and safety guidelines
Requirements:
• Previous line cook experience (required)
• Fluent Spanish (required)
• Experience with Latin cuisine (required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Basic knife skills and understanding of food safety
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
