Hourly range: $20 to $25 per hour plus commission.
South Florida Caterpillar dealer seeking an Assistant Rental Coordinator for the light construction light construction equipment division.
Responsibilities will include assisting the Rental Coordinator, processing of rental transactions, invoicing, inventory control, answer phones, data entry and work well with customers.
To be qualified, the ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, for contact with management and or co-workers. Proficient in English and Spanish. Be computer literate in the following Microsoft programs: Excel, Word and be willing to learn the AX operating system. Knowledge of the construction industry and associated equipment is required. Be a good team player and be willing to assist other team members, including the yard coordinator and his responsibilities as needed. Employee will be cross trained to back up other team members.
Maintain a good attendance habit. Be punctual and ready to work is crucial. Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company safety manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. Must be a high school graduate and have a valid FL driver license, with a clean record.
Have at least 2-3 years of Rental industry or similar experience preferred.
Note: Training will be held at a KTC rental Location in Miami, Fort Myers, West Palm, or Clewiston until the Fort Pierce location is open.
