We are hiring a full-time Insurance Sales Representative to join our in-office team. This role provides tailored insurance solutions to new and existing clients while earning substantial commissions from high-quality, inbound leads. No cold calling is needed; we supply the volume, and you bring the value.

  • Base hourly wage plus uncapped commission and monthly bonuses
  • First-year earning potential: $55,000$65,000+ depending on skill set and ramp up

We are looking for employees seeking a career path in the Property and Casualty Insurance market (Home, Auto, Liability, Commercial Insurance etc. to name a few), among many other insurance types. The bread and butter of the agency is Auto and Home insurance.

We do not "burn and turn" good candidates, as it's a waste for all of us. We invest heavily in great staff. If you are strong in sales, insurance is just another Item/Service everyone needs. Sales Skill and self motivation with an outgoing attitude are a must. We can teach the industry.

  • Agency Owner has been training New Insurance agents and staff for 10+ years, and has roughly 25 years of raw Sales work, Sales Training and Sales Management background in multiple industries.


  • *First year income potential is ~$55k-65k+, 2nd year ~$62k-70k+, 3rd year ~$70k+ or more.. depending on your skill - your limit is yours alone all inclusive. Plus Benefits like Health insurance Etc.* This is a base hourly position with a heavy commission structure. You write your own paycheck with performance.

  • Ramp Up for any sales position should be expected, as a funnel of leads must be built. Typical ramp up varies by person, but roughly 1-3 months. Some may ramp up quicker than others.

Responsibilities

  • Ramp up by building funnel of supplied leads created from agency, finding referrals, cross selling customers, & finding centers of influence
  • Take inbound calls from individuals actively seeking insurance products
  • Make Outbound calls to customers who have actively contacted us on the web seeking a quote for insurance.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls and cross-sell to existing customers
  • Educate clients on personal lines of insurance, including auto, home, and liability
  • Build lasting relationships with clients while exceeding monthly sales goals
  • Use agency tools and automation systems to stay organized and efficient. Efficiency and focus on productive activity creates more sales.
  • Tactfully move Service related questions/needs to other appropriate service staff. This is a SALES position. The only servicing done, is to secure one's sale and make a happy customer experience bringing them in to the agency.


Requirements

  • Either an active Florida Property & Casualty Insurance License or be willing to quickly obtain one within training period (4-40, 20-44 or 2-20 are acceptable, as all are P&C licenses. Higher level licenses do have certain advantages, which will be discussed)
  • Must work on-site in St. Petersburg/Pinellas Park, FL.
  • Self-motivated with a competitive spirit and strong ethical standards
  • Strong computer and technical skills. We used multiple computer Insurance software programs and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, persuasion and Sales skills
  • Coachable, goal-oriented, and excited to learn new strategies daily
  • Strong Sales background with numbers to prove is highly preferred
