Job Title: Project Coordinator (BAE)

Organization: Black Arts Creatives Collective

Location: Hybrid - Miami-Dade and Broward County

Type & Compensation: Part-Time, Contract, $25/hour

Hours: 20-25 hours per week (Minimum 20 hours per week)

Black Arts Executives (BAE) is a collective of Black leaders from arts organizations across South Florida working together to amplify collective impact. Through shared marketing, programming, and resources, we build stronger connections between artists, organizations, and communities.

Position Summary

The Project Coordinator will provide essential administrative, communications, and project support to the collective. This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive individual with strong writing, communication, and digital media skills who thrives in a collaborative environment. The Project Coordinator will help manage the flow of information, ensure tasks and initiatives move forward, and support the collective’s marketing and outreach goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Information & Asset Management

    • Gather and organize assets and information for the collective’s shared repository.

    • Maintain and update the collective event calendar.

  • Meeting & Administrative Support

    • Attend meetings, take detailed notes, and distribute follow-up

    • Support collective leadership with scheduling, correspondence, and administrative tasks.

  • Research & Coordination

    • Research opportunities for collective marketing, partnerships, and visibility.

    • Work with a PR strategist to guide and execute the strategic collective marketing plan.

  • Communications & Marketing

    • Draft and schedule social media content across collective platforms.

    • Create content for newsletters, email campaigns, and website updates.

    • Provide editing support for communications and promotional materials.

  • Event Support

    • Assist with planning and logistics for collective events.

    • Attend and support select events in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the Arts Community

  • Background in communication or marketing

  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.

  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation.

  • Basic knowledge of email marketing tools and website editing (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, or similar).

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to research, synthesize, and share information effectively.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
