Job Title: Event Development Coordinator
Location: Lake Worth, FL (In-Office, Full-Time)

Position Overview:
We’re seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Event Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role plays a key part in developing and executing customized event proposals and programs. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and combines strong logistical skills with a passion for exceptional client experiences—always with a keen eye for design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed, client-facing proposals for a wide range of programs including:
    • Off-property events
    • On-site themed events
    • Daytime activities & excursions
    • Team-building experiences
    • Entertainment & décor
    • Transportation services
  • Ensure proposals are delivered on time and meet client objectives
  • Coordinate vendor pricing, availability, and secure timely contracts
  • Create client contracts and deposit invoices
  • Maintain and update Excel-based cost sheets and pricing tools
  • Organize and manage digital files, pricing archives, and proposal templates

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in event planning or coordination, ideally within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills across phone, email, and in-person vendor interactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a Destination Management Company (DMC)
  • Background in event design, décor, or creative development
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field
