This is a remote position.
Account Executive - EMS
First Due, a leading public safety software company, is searching for our next powerhouse EMS Account Executive to work directly with private EMS providers and partners across the public safety industry. As an Account Executive for First Due’s private EMS business, your focus will be prospecting and driving new business in your territory, supporting the sale of our best-in-class SaaS platform providing end-to-end support to public safety agencies across North America.
Note: Candidates based in the West Coast are strongly preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities with private EMS customers within assigned territory
- Build & maintain a high-performance sale pipeline, manage efficient & professional sales cycles and close contracts.
- Lead discovery with agencies on their needs and present innovative new strategies to transform pre-incident planning, mobile response and community engagement into thriving components of their organization
- Collaborate with system integrators, channel partners, and internal teams to support customer success and growth
- Travel to customer site and attend trade shows
- Stay current on public safety trends, technologies, software ecosystems, trends, performance indicators, competitive landscape, funding sources and procurement processes
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM and provide regular updates on account status, forecasts, and competitive insights

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of private EMS software sales experience, with proven experience meeting or exceeding quota for customers of varying sizes and complexities
- Strong understanding of government procurement, contracting, sales, and budgeting processes.
- Exceptional organization & communication skills with both customers and internal teams.
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and work autonomously in a fast-paced start-up team environment with a positive attitude.
- Collaborative approach to working with marketing, product and customer success teams.
- Proficient with CRM, Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
