JOB DESCRIPTION :

Part-time position open for a bridal consultant. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who loves sales and working in a customer service intensive environment. As a bridal consultant, you will work directly with brides to help them have a one-of-a-kind bridal experience. You will build meaningful relationships with our bridal clients, help them find the perfect gown, and guide them during their journey, up until the wedding day. You will also assist with other wedding party members, such as bridesmaids, groomsmen, and social occasion clients. You must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, a consultative sales style, a positive attitude, and a strong sense of bridal fashion and fashion in general. No bridal industry training required. We provide in-shop training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist brides in finding the perfect gown and/or accessories
  • Create memorable experiences for all bridal clients
  • Work closely with the boutique manager
  • Meet and exceed sales goals, set by the boutique manager
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and process sales transactions
  • Assist in miscellaneous daily store duties
  • Handle money transactions and charge accounts

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Retail or sales experience preferred, but not a must
  • Saturday shifts mandatory
  • Positive attitude, while providing excellent service
  • Presents a professional image in appearance, words, and actions
  • Self-motivated and open to learn
  • Able to take immediate feedback on performance and make adjustments quickly and with growth-oriented attitude
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and excel in a fast paced, high-performing environment
  • Be able to lift, bend, pull and reach-- up to 30lbs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Receive and process incoming stock
  • Comfortable in a small/intimate business setting

HOURS & COMPENSATION:

  • 12-20 hours per week
  • Starting pay at $14/Hour with opportunities for advancement
