Outside Sales Representative - Construction - Base Salary to 120k/year – Fort Lauderdale, FL
- Our client is a multinational access, scaffolding, and forming/shoring partner to industrial, commercial, and infrastructure customers. A footprint of 340 locations across 25 countries enables safer setups, faster schedules, and tighter cost control on maintenance and capital projects. Their commitment and service help customers maximize productivity and safety on every job site.
- They are adding an Outside Sales Representative for the South Florida market with a focus on concrete repair and restoration. In this role, the Outside Sales Representative will sell the full product portfolio while leading with concrete repair expertise - combining technical knowledge with business development to deliver tailored proposals and coordinate safe, efficient project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute a territory plan targeting owners, general contractors, and specialty subcontractors for concrete repair and restoration work.
- Prospect for bid opportunities, actively pursue new business, and participate in estimates, scope development, and networking events.
- Sell labor-inclusive repair packages while cross-selling access, containment, and shoring solutions for turnkey project delivery.
- Develop pricing with operations, including labor, equipment, and schedule assumptions for accurate proposals.
- Negotiate terms within company guidelines and secure project awards, extensions, and change orders.
- Manage all phases of awarded projects, including contracts, submittals, schedules, RFIs, change orders, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.
- Monitor project financials, reporting, billing, cash flow, and profitability through to closeout.
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and documentation within CRM.
- Complete all prequalification, safety, and contract routing documentation as required.
- Support smooth project handoffs and ensure safe, efficient field execution.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively, communicating potential risks or delays to leadership.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of labor contract sales experience, preferably within concrete repair/restoration.
- Strong understanding of project management principles from bid through closeout.
- Familiarity with scaffolding/access systems and the ability to read drawings and specifications.
- CRM proficiency with consistent pipeline and activity management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
