Job Description
The Quality Inspection Clerk will be responsible for organizing, assisting, and kitting jobs and assignments for the Quality Department. The role involves applying job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of tasks, with the ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice being essential.
Responsibilities
- Unpack, organize, and prepare parts for inspection.
- Maintain accurate tooling inventory records.
- Monitor calibration records.
- Clean and maintain stored tools.
- Package parts in preparation for warehouse storage.
- Provide assistance with part marking.
- Assist with visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections on a wide variety of components and assemblies.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Essential Skills
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Excellent communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Blueprint experience.
- Experience with inspection and measuring tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T, shipping & receiving, material handling, and quality control.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize with minimal supervision.
- Continuous Improvement Mindset is a must.
- Must work well within a team environment and independently.

Work Environment
Work in an air-conditioned environment from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The QC team fosters a positive culture where growth is encouraged, with leadership having progressed from inspector roles to managerial positions.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hollywood, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
