AO Teams is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a seasoned, dynamic leader to join our team as Chief Operating Officer (COO). This full-time role is crucial for steering the company towards its mission of sustained industry leadership and innovation. As the COO at AO Teams, you will play a pivotal role in driving our operations, ensuring the efficient management and scaling of our systems, and leading our teams toward operational brilliance and market growth. This position is based at our main office and requires the candidate's physical presence, as it is not a remote job.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure professional and efficient operational workflows.
- Direct and manage company operations to achieve budgeted results and other financial criteria.
- Participate in the development and preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and growth objectives.
- Oversee internal operations, including IT management, workflow optimization, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure the on-time and on-budget delivery of new websites, applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop repeatable processes and documentation to facilitate effective offshore collaboration and project management.
- Supervise a diverse team, facilitating meetings and ensuring all members are aligned with the organization's goals and projects.
- Negotiate vendor contracts to optimize resource allocation and minimize operational costs.
- Ensure new business operations are launched efficiently and sustainably, aligning with strategic objectives.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and compliance with regulations.
- Drive initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience in operations leadership, preferably in technology or a related industry.
- Proven experience scaling SaaS/BPO/BPaaS operations from early stages to significant revenue achievements (e.g., <$10M to $50M+ ARR).
- Experience with building and managing enterprise-level RevOps and GCP foundations, including HubSpot architecture, BigQuery pipelines, and CI/CD via Cloud Build/GitHub Actions.
- Ability to lead distributed teams across multiple geographic locations, including the US, Israel, the UK, South Africa, Canada, New Zealand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and India.
- Strong network within the Google Cloud partner ecosystem, with proven ability in navigating co-sell motions and directory readiness.
- Demonstrated capability in negotiating vendor contracts effectively, managing budgets, and setting up operational guardrails.
- Experience in establishing ISO/SOC 2 compliance, managing data loss prevention, least privilege policies, and building audit trails across GCP/Workspace.
- Exceptional ability to deliver infrastructure components like websites and apps, with a track record of 100% on-time launches.
- Preferred qualifications include an MBA and Six Sigma/Lean certification.
- Familiarity with operating tools such as HubSpot, GCP, Jira, Asana, and Google Workspace.
- Proven capacity to manage P&L and align operations to support forecasted company revenues and growth, including balance sheet ownership with the CFO for CRE acquisitions and management.
