Job Summary:
Garden Hotel & Resort is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across guest rooms and public areas. The Housekeeping Supervisor leads room attendants and public area staff, coordinates workflow, conducts inspections, and supports training and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including room cleaning and public area maintenance

Assign tasks and schedules to housekeeping staff based on occupancy and operational needs

Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces to ensure brand and resort quality standards are consistently met

Ensure timely room readiness in coordination with Front Office and Maintenance teams

Train new housekeeping staff on procedures, safety standards, and service expectations
-
Monitor staff productivity and provide coaching and corrective guidance when required

Maintain adequate inventory of linens, supplies, and cleaning products; submit replenishment requests as needed

Ensure proper use and care of housekeeping equipment and report maintenance issues promptly

Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards across all housekeeping operations

Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping in a professional and timely manner

Prepare daily reports on room status, staffing, and inspections for management review

Support sustainability and waste-reduction practices aligned with resort policies
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality certification preferred

2–4 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort environment

At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role preferred

Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, procedures, and safety practices

Ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and manage time effectively

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling systems

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
