Job DescriptionAre you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for keeping machines running at their best? We’re looking for an experienced Packaging Mechanic / Technician to join our team in South Florida and support production operations in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on packaging and finishing equipment
- Troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize downtime and keep lines running smoothly
- Install and test new equipment for production and R&D projects
- Support engineers with process improvements, tooling, and documentation
- Investigate root causes of downtime and complete CAPA reports
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with manufacturing/packaging equipment
- Background in pharmaceutical, food, or OTC regulated manufacturing
- Knowledge of cGMP and FDA requirements
- Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and handle physical demands (lifting up to 65 lbs.)
